Sam Bush on the Show This Week!  Join us this Saturday, November 15 when we welcome Mr. Sam Bush to the "High Lonesome Radio Hour"!  We will talk to Sam about his memories of Bill Monroe, playing with the Wailers, and what he learned from Emmylou Harris.  Don't miss it!
I'm Jonathan James, host of the "High Lonesome Radio Hour" show on Carrboro's community-supported WCOM 103.5 FM.  We've put together a heart-pounding, toe-tapping traditional music show that we hope you'll enjoy.

We'll be all over the Bluegrass, Old Time, and Americana map as we explore songs about trains, lost loves, betrayal, murder, cabins, mountains....you know, the good stuff.  From Monroe, Flatt & Scruggs and Doc Watson, up through Sam Bush, the Infamous Stringdusters, and The Avett Brothers, we'll cover a lot of ground each week.

We look forward to having you join us each Saturday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. for music, concert updates, and on-air interviews.

Take a load off and enjoy some of that old High Lonesome sound!
